Hexagon Gold + Solidago Earrings by Rebecca Noel Designs

Tiny solidago, celosia and mustard float in clear resin inside gold hexagons. Hexagons measure 1/2” in diameter and are 24 karat gold plated.  Ear wires are handmade from gold filled wire.

What is gold filled?

“Gold-filled” is real gold pressure bonded in multiple layers over a core of brass, resulting in a quality gold product that will not easily wear off.  It requires 5% pure gold by weight, and is just as hypo-allergenic as wearing karat gold.
